What to bring:

Please see below on what participants need to bring

Suitable for adults and older teens

During this workshop, Shannon will guide you, step by step, in making your own small, free-standing bird from leftover fabric scraps, stuffing and wire.

You will have time during the workshop to make at least one bird with wrapped wire feet and legs, and a hand-stitched and stuffed body, embellished with wings, tail, beak and eyes. Add embroidery or beadwork to make it your very own.

You will be able to take the pattern and instruction sheets home with you to make more birds, as you won't want to stop at one! All tools and materials will be provided for use on the day.

Suitable for adults and older teens.

This workshop is held in conjunction with A Garden of Possibility exhibition on show at The Centre Beaudesert from 10 February to 27 April 2024.

What is provided: All materials and tools, tea and coffee.

What to bring: Your lunch, a favourite or meaningful piece of fabric or a special doyley you would like to use on your bird (optional).
