The Scenic Rim Regional Council is delighted to bring you a variety of school holiday activities in Spring 2020.

 

QAGOMA Island Fashion on Tour

Wednesday to Friday, 23-25 September; Wednesday, 30 September, and Thursday, 1 October.

The Centre Beaudesert and the Boonah Cultural Centre will each hold sessions at 9.45am, 11am, 1pm and 2pm on the dates listed above. 

These are FREE activity sessions (45-minutes each) but registration is essential

The Scenic Rim Regional Council and Queensland Art Gallery | Gallery of Modern Art (QAGOMA) present ‘Island Fashion on Tour’: a regional touring project for children and families. These are FREE workshops however, registration is essential and children U13 must be accompanied by an adult. 

‘Island Fashion on Tour’ features a range of free, hands-on art making activities created by QAGOMA in collaboration with Australian and Pacific artists, Grace Lillian Lee, Maryann Talia Pau and Ranu James, and Letila Mitchell.

COMEDY MASTERCLASS with Goat Track Theatre

Wednesday, 30 September

Vonda Youngman Community Centre (Tamborine Mountain): 9.30am - 12.30pm and 1.00pm-4.00pm

The cost is $12.00 per participant (age 7+ years).

Come one! Come all!  

Goat Track Theatre is offering just 20 young comedians in the making to be a part of our comedy Master Class. Our Master of laughter and Mistress of Mayhem will be teaching every TRICK of comedy. From the creation of a joke to the execution of a woopy cushion, Goat Track Theatre will create a laugh fest that will leave you in stitches. 
Note: Children to bring water bottle and wear comfortable clothes.

KIDS' FLICKS

Kids' Flick are returning during the September 2020 school holidays to The Centre Beaudesert and the Boonah Cultural Centre.

Movie tickets are $5.00 each; one price for adults or children. The movie ticket price is for the movie ticket only. Please note movie sessions start promptly.

NB. Pre-bookings are preferred as some COVID-19 questions need to be answered. If however, you choose to pay by cash on the day, please arrive half an hour earlier than the movie's scheduled commencement time for registration, so that you do not miss out, as movie sessions will start promptly.
