Leeton and Cindy are inspired by the magic of nature.

Cindy’s woven baskets, wall hangings, sculptures and lampshades each tell a story of the forest. Some plant fibres are dyed with local plants to create natural vibrancy and depth. Weaving workshops will share techniques used in basketry with adults and children over the weekend.

Leeton’s mobs are Dunghutti and Bundjulang. He uses acrylic and glow-in-the dark paints to produce his work. Paintings are a mix of earth and sea colours applied on fabric, clothing, bookmarks, home wares and 3D images. Leeton is a professional didgeridoo player as well as making his own range including boomerangs, didgeridoos, clothing and homewares, and other artefacts.
