First hand stories of war and correspondence from the front and home. Features renowned Australian war artist and filmmaker George Gittoes AM with his exhibition I Witness : a 45 Year Survey.  A Hazelhurst Regional Gallery and Arts Centre touring exhibition. Exhibition also includes war propaganda and censorship, historical memorabilia and local stories. NOTE selected works in this exhibition are visually confronting and may cause distress to viewers.

Artist floor talks & tours for school groups at 10am and 1pm. Bookings essential.  Limited group places. Free entry.

Sat 25 July  10.30am - 3.30pm  : Masterclass with George Gittoes
A unique opportunity to learn from and work with acclaimed Australian War Artist and Humanist and Filmmaker George Gittoes AM.  Suitable for experienced artists, university and senior art students.  Participants to bring own materials and equipment in chosen medium.  $100   Bookings essential - limited places.

Live readings from their diaries written at the Yellow House Jalalabad - no cameras or recordings allowed.
