Land & Sea: Combining two thought provoking and compelling exhibitions by Dr Paula Payne and Nadine Schmoll to explore the many facets of human activity's and impact on landscapes, seascapes and our climate.

Landskins by Dr Paula Payne

Narratives of contemporary times and important issues concerning climate change continue to infuse Paula Payne's works.

This series of large-scale paintings responds to research about the Anthropocene, including climate change, changes in ancient geological environments and geographical sites of environmental degradation.

Water Worlds by Nadine Schmoll

This exhibition explores the impact of plastic waste and climate change on our marine environment and invites audiences to immerse themselves in an underwater world.

It presents plastic through the mediums of photography, sculpture and augmented reality, evoking beauty and the fragile translucence of glass. Plastic waste is heat-formed and sculpted into organic forms reminiscent of corals, jellyfish and sea urchins.
