Cultural Custodians premieres a collection of new works by Jandamarra Cadd.

Join in the Exhibition Launch and meet the artists on Saturday 6 November 2021, 10.30 for 11am.  Launch includes artist talks and exhibition tours with Jandamarra Cadd and artists featured in the Small Wonders exhibition. RSVP essential for COVID-safe requirements.

The body of works in Cultural Custodians show the value of the psycho spiritual connection that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people have with their culture.

This connection is one that is strongly complimented and supported through a connection to our Ancestor spirits that are embedded in this land.  And an ongoing relationship with our Elders who are the wisdom keepers of the cultural Lore and knowledge.

Each painting will be a visual narrative that shares about how these very relationships effect every part of First Nation culture.

From connection to country, community, family and a spirituality that permeates every aspect of living and relationship. Jandamarra's intention for this exhibition is to invite the viewer into the deeper expansiveness of First Nation Culture. And the richness that is before us all as custodians walking on this land together.

Also on show is Small Wonders group exhibition of miniature works by Queensland artists.
