COVID-19 INFORMATION UPDATED FOR 2022

All individuals entering The Centre Beaudesert and the Boonah Cultural Centre (patrons, employees, artists, performers, crew, contractors and suppliers (16+ years) will need to check in via the Check-In Qld QR Code displayed at the centre’s entry AND show proof of vaccination or certified medical exemption. 


The Vonda Youngman Community Centre is a designated community centre. Check-In Qld QR Code and social distancing requirements remain in place. Proof of vaccination is at the discretion of hirers.

All of our venues use the Qld Gov Check In Qld App (download the App hereand operate under a Qld Gov COVID Safe Checklist.

OPENING HOURS:

The Centre Beaudesert is open Tues-Fri 10am-4pm, and during exhibition periods is open Sat 10am-2pm.
The Boonah Cultural Centre and Vonda Youngman Community Centre are open when events are occurring.

WHAT WE ARE DOING TO KEEP YOU SAFE in 2022

  • We ask that you do not attend our venues, if you are feeling unwell.
  • All patrons visiting our venues are required to check in via the Qld Gov Check In App. Mask wearing is also mandatory for adults and children 12 yrs and above unless the person can show proof of medical exemption.
  • At Boonah and Beaudesert it is a requirement to show vaccination proof or provide a medical exemption. 
  • To avoid congestion on entry at The Centre Beaudesert and Boonah Cultural Centre, all patrons are urged to add their COVID-19 Digital Certificate, Immunisation History Statement from Medicare, linked to their Check-In Qld App on their phones before they arrive.
  • Alternatively, people can show employees, on entry, a hardcopy of their COVID-19 Digital Certificate or Immunisation History Statement from Medicare. Certified medical exemptions will be accepted and are also required to be uploaded/linked to the Check-In Qld App or Immunisation History Statement from Medicare.*

COVID Restrictions

Questions regarding mandatory vaccines should be directed to Queensland Health. Check the Queensland Health website here for more information.

  • We are providing for your safety and convenience: sanitiser gel and wipes and disposable face masks should you require them.
  • We are regularly sanitising high-touch surfaces throughout the venues.
  • We encourage you to purchase your tickets using your credit card, either online or by calling Box Office 5540 5050. 
  • The centre staff reserve the right to ask you to leave if COVID-19 regulations are not being followed so as to keep everyone safe.
  • We are continually monitoring and updating COVID-19 changes to keep you informed.
  • Othere restrictions may come into efefct and we will be guided by the Queensland Government Public Health Directions.
